CA1 Presentation

Given to us the dateline for the submission of our CA1 report and slides, we managed to finish it on time and did a final check together before submitting. As we were the first group to present on Tuesday, 26^th May, we were very nervous. Each of us were given certain slides to remember. At first we thought of having scripts with us so that it would mean less memorizing work for us. However, after discussing, we decided not to have any scripts with us so that it will allow us to have more eye contact. Luckily we were able to familiarize ourselves with our individual slides and managed to present our ideas clearly to the class. I’m glad we were able to finish our first formal presentation smoothly.  

Third Meeting with Petfie

We went over to Jiunn Ngee and Jerome's office last Wednesday, 20^th May, to discuss all our ideas, ways of executing it and datelines for all the plans. However, we were told by Jerome that one of our ideas given to them previously about having pop-up prompts on the app was being rejected as they did not have the technology to get it done. But the rest of our ideas were accepted and we were also given our goals for Petfie's social media platforms. Since we had some time, we continued discussing among ourselves about our plans and individual responsibilities. We had a rough timeline after being given the datelines for each plan to be executed. Jerome added us as editors onto Petfie's Facebook page that day which allows us to be able to help promote Petfie on Facebook anytime. We were also given the confirmation date of the Walk-a-dog event and the launch of Petfie for Android phones which gives us a better idea of how we can execute our plans in a more organized manner. With the timeframe, we will then come up with a more detailed tasklist so that we will be able to be overloaded and be clearer of what is needed to be done and by who. 

SMM CA1 Submission and Presentation

We manage to complete our report and slides and submitted them. Also, we had our CA1 Presentation on Tuesday. We were really nervous as we were the first group to present. We split the roles of the presentation slides equally and everyone had to be familiar with their slides. Through discussing, we decided to not bring notes and script for our presentation as it would make it difficult for us to have eye contact. We managed to pull it off, and we were glad that we were able to present our ideas to the class.

Our third meeting with Petfie

Last Wednesday on 20/5/15,we met with Jerome and Jiuu Ngee to decide on the final timeline in which we will be executing our plans based on . We had managed to get a rough timeline in which we will be following close to , and got approvals on some plans that we were discussing - Holding a mini event for Petfie app.However,we did not have all our plans to be approved of . In the previous meeting , we briefly discussed an idea that was rejected by Jiuu Ngee this meeting , it was the idea of having a pop up advertisement for the app.The idea was rejected because of time constraint . Instead, he suggested we focus mostly on the video tutorial for Petfie users especially the new ones .

Third Meeting With Petfie

Today, 20/5/15, we went over to Petfie's office to discuss our final plan for the timeline and to discuss about our proposal. We managed to decide on the rough timeline and get our approvals for certain plans, like the mini event for the Petfie app. However, we didnt manage to get approval for one of our plans, which is the pop-up advertisement for the Petfie App. Jerome said that they couldnt
do it because it would take too long of a time. Since we only had a few months to work with Petfie, he suggested that we focus on other plans like the video tutorial for petfie instead. 

reply from Petfie

We got our reply from Mr Jiunn Ngee earlier this afternoon. He said that the proposal we sent to him was fine and even gave us some examples which we can refer too. We went on to talk about our next meeting which most probably will be held on next Wednesday, 20 May 2015. We will then further discuss about when are we going to execute our plans for Petfie. Second Meeting with Petfie

We held our official meeting with Petfie on Thursday,7th May.I feel that the meeting was pretty fruitful because we managed to discuss with Mr Jerome and Mr Jiuu Ngee our ideas on how we are going to help them promote Petfie and also its launch of the Android version.Aside that, we were also able to discuss with them how we are intending to utilize Youtubers,Facebook-ers,Instagram-ers and even pet bloggers to create a better awareness for Petfie and the shelter that Petfie is working with.At the end of the second meeting , we were sent home with a task of preparing a proposal and create a detailed execution of the ideas we contributed and the timeline of all the events.Further and more detailed discussions can only be carried out after we meet with Mr Jiuu Ngee and Mr Jerome because they would have to approve our proposal before we can officially start executing .
