Last presentation for the semester

We had our final SMM presentation on 18/8/15, we had some constructive feedback from Ms Dora on our slides and we also included our DMB video in our presentation.

We submitted our DMB video on Thursday, 13 August 2015. We are currently working on our CA2 slides which will be presented on 18 August 2015.

We are now starting on our smm slides and have alredy distributed our roles for the slides.

Posting on FB and Instagram

We started posting for Petfie on 1 July 2015 and we have officially ended it on 31 July 2015. During this one month of posting, we took turns to post everyday with different contents but around the same timing of 5-7pm. During this one month, we were asked to change our contents, graphics and faced problems with our giveaway. However, we managed to overcome it and somehow solved it after talking to Jerome and asking some help from Jiunn Ngee to communicate with Jerome before he left Petfie(which we didn't know). Luckily, we were able to continue with the giveaway event, having a total of 9 winners for the month of July(which the giveaway event was held). Although some doesn't match with the editorial calendar but the contents were similar and sometimes we would then have 2 posts, one according to the calendar and the other is a last minute post. 

DMB filming

After consulting Lynus on the videos we took at the pet shelter that is collaborating with Petfie, he suggested us to retake the videos. We asked Jerome if it was possible for us to go down to the pet shelter, he rejected us and thus we had to think of an alternative. In the end, we asked our friends but most of them do not have a pet. Thus, all of us came to a final decision and decided to come over to my house for filming as I was the only one who has a pet in the group. We did our filming last Wednesday, 29 July 2015 for almost 5 hours. Although it was long, warm and tiring, but compared to our previous videos, I'm sure our new video would be much better because we had longer time to film and have more time to think of how to place the cameras, re-watch the videos taken, etc before continuing.

Petfie giveaway

I am in charge of the Petfie giveaway , the prizes consists of dog food , Cat Cafe vouchers and Pet Lovers vouchers. The event was held from 8 July 2015-2 August 2015. We chose about 9-10 winners in total of the whole contest. All of them chose the Pet Lovers Centre vouchers.

 This are the last two post that concludes the giveaway. However , in the two weeks' posts , Jerome told us to change the hashtag. So we came to a conclusion to change #SG50Petfie to #PetfieGiveaway2k15.
